Income Officer

As an income officer your role is to provide a customer focused recovery service, maximising income collection and reducing rent arrears, whilst managing and monitoring the rent accounts across all tenure types. Taking any necessary recovery action in line with Housing Solutions policies and procedures, including the completion of legal paperwork and attending court for possession claims. You will assist our customers to sustain their tenancy by ensuring the appropriate referrals for debt and welfare advice are made to support customers in need and carrying out home visits where necessary whilst liaising and working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, including the Welfare and Benefits team, the DWP and advice agencies.
