Income Development Manager
Reporting to: Head of Business Solutions
Location: Belfast/Mallusk/ Hybrid
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent subject to funding
Salary: Equivalent to NJC P01 £37,035- £39,513

Develop and deliver a strategy and plan for income generation and diversification to enable the delivery of Homeless Connect's services and operations, including the FareShare and Home Starter Pack projects.
Key tasks and responsibilities Strategy- Work with senior colleagues to develop and deliver an income generation strategy and plan covering statutory, corporate, philanthropic, individual and other sources of giving.
- Work with senior colleagues to examine, analyse and develop the organisation's approach to income generation through commercial and social enterprise activities.
Income Generation
- Identify sources of funding for existing services and/or new projects; prepare requests and funding applications as appropriate.
- Work with senior colleagues to identify prepare and submit tender bids for contracts.
- Provide support with established statutory and other fundraising activities within FareShare and other projects to ensure their sustainability and further development.
- Assist with the preparation of operational budgets for all income generation activities.
- Support effective and efficient management and administration by:
ensuring all records are accurate and up to date; and
helping to ensure income generation activities are properly costed and within budget.
Marketing and Communications
- Prepare and deliver presentations, for income generation and marketing purposes to existing and potential funders and donors.
- Assist with the development of marketing collateral and fundraising content for use across Homeless Connect, FareShare and other platforms.
- Act as an ambassador at fundraising events, co-ordinating and supporting staff and volunteer representatives as required.
Reporting and Administration
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant ethical standards and legislative requirements, maintaining alignment of partnerships with Homeless Connects mission and core values.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports; manage and update donor records to accurately reflect all interactions, developments, follow-ups, and engagement activity.
General Requirements
- Adhere to all compliance and confidentiality policies, ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
- Carry out duties in line with the organisation's equality and diversity policy.

- Undertake any other relevant duties as required by the Head of Business Solutions/CEO.
