Inclusion and Wellbeing Issue Director

Overview

Business in the Community (BITC) champions responsible business as essential for long term economic growth and resilience. Funded by His Majesty King Charles III in 1982, BITC has over four decades of experience engaging business and delivering measurable impact in both business and communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BITC Gender Equality Leadership team and the BITC Wellbeing Leadership Team.
• Define and deliver the strategy and value proposition around gender equality and workplace inclusion, including flagship awards such as the BITC Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality.
• Campaign, produce thought leadership and challenge members to make progress on gender equality and other aspects of workplace inclusion.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the business sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy development and partnership strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to raise significant income from both the private and public sector.
• Strong leadership, judgement, people management and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and ambassadorial skills.

The salary offered for this position will be dependent on skills and experience.
