Incident Response Lead - Cyber Security, Digital/Cyber Forensics, SOC, Security posture

Long term contract/freelance opportunity for an Incident Response Lead to join one of our leading clients based in Prague. Our client is searching for an individual to come in and lead/take over their Incident Response and Cyber/Digital Forensics areas, within their Global SOC. The role of the Incident Response Lead will be to Lead and coordinate the global response to cybersecurity incidents, acting as the incident commander' during high-severity events. In order to achieve this, you will be responsible to manage a 3rd party vendor which supports our clients with their incidents, as well as to co-ordinate the internal SOC team.

From a Digital/Cyber Forensics perspective, your role will be to support the development and implementation of new tools in order to strengthen our clients security posture (they currently use MS Defender, they are looking to see what other tools they can implement to further improve their security).

To be successful in this role, we are seeking someone with a background in Cyber Security/Security operations for companies operating at a large scale, with proven experience in positions purely dedicated to Incident response. From a technical perspective, we are seeking someone from a hands-on background in the areas of: forensic tools (eg, EnCase, FTK, Sleuthkit), malware analysis tools (eg, IDA Pro, Oily Debug), and Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.

This position is hybrid working, with regular travel required to our clients office based in Prague.
