Duties and Responsibilities
As In Room Dining Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:
- Review bookings and plan for smooth department operation during shifts.
- Ensure all working areas are clean, properly equipped, and maintained to high standards.
- Effectively carry out service recovery or train the team to do so in the event of guest complaints.
- Train the In-Room Dining and Minibar teams to achieve excellence in service and performance.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and ensure accurate minibar processes and charges.
- Maintain relevance of In Room Dining amenities, menus, and wine lists in line with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Provide prompt and efficient service according to standards.
- Ensure all mise-en-place for In Room Dining service is correctly prepared prior to delivery.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B daily activities.
- Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
- Adhere strictly to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To succeed as In Room Dining Manager, candidates should have the following qualifications, skills, and experience in a similar luxury hotel role:
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 years of experience in In Room Dining or similar service. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage terminology, operations, wine service, menu development, hygiene standards, and inventory control.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
