In-House Construction Senior Legal Counsel

Douglas Scott is working with a Regeneration Business headquartered in the West Midlands. The global business is growing, with over 15K employees in the UK and over 70K worldwide.

They are seeking a 3-8 PQE solicitor (no upper limit on experience) who is confident providing commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders, as well as to a variety of public and private sector clients.

Job Title: In-House Senior Legal Counsel - Construction

Location: West Midlands

Flexibility: Hybrid working options, typically 1 day in the office

Salary: £75K to £90K DOE

In this role, you will handle a variety of contracts on behalf of the business, primarily related to construction projects. An understanding of the contractual framework surrounding construction projects is essential, including experience in drafting and negotiating non-contentious JCT and NEC contracts.

The role is based at the company's UK headquarters in the West Midlands, with travel to other offices possibly required (up to 1 day per week).
