NHS Supply Chain - Customer Engagement Function
NHS Supply Chain is seekingseven Implementation Specialiststo join our newly establishedImplementation Teamwithin theCustomer Engagementfunction. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting NHS Trusts across England.
As an Implementation Specialist, you will be jointly responsible for a portfolio of NHS Trusts within one of the seven NHS regions. Working in close collaboration with colleagues from ICS Management, Strategic Engagement, and Care Pathway teams, you will help deliver impactful change across the healthcare system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the adoption of nationally identified savings opportunities using NHS Supply Chain frameworks and tools.
- Supporting NHS Trusts through procurement transitions, ensuring a smooth shift to NHS Supply Chain systems.
- Leading the implementation of initiatives, enabling ICS teams to focus on more complex transformation programmes.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of NHS procurement, while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Every day you will:
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across NHS Trusts, including procurement professionals, clinicians, and supply chain specialists, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of strategic initiatives within the region.
- Lead the identification and execution of cost-saving opportunities by leveraging established NHS Supply Chain frameworks and analytical tools, ensuring measurable financial benefits for Trusts.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to Trusts during the migration process, helping them shift from legacy or third-party supply routes to integrated NHS Supply Chain solutions with minimal disruption.
- Facilitate effective planning and coordination during contract transitions, ensuring demand is accurately forecasted and implementation is seamless to maintain continuity of supply and service.
- Champion the rollout of tailored solutions across various care settings, delivering training, configuring systems, and ensuring stakeholders are equipped to maximise the benefits of new initiatives.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional internal teams to provide cohesive and coordinated support, ensuring that implementation efforts are aligned with broader strategic goals and customer needs.
- Effectively plan and prioritise your schedule to maintain a strong on-site presence, fostering relationships and driving engagement during key phases of project delivery and savings discussions.
- Participate actively in collaborative planning sessions with ICS Management, contributing insights, tracking progress, and aligning on shared objectives to support regional and national healthcare priorities.
