Immigration Senior Associate (Cardiff)

A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Immigration practice in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced immigration lawyer to join a market-leading team, recognised by The Legal 500 in Wales for its "invaluable expertise" and "responsive, commercial advice" to clients across a wide range of sectors.

The Role
This role sits within the firm's wider Employment, Labour and Pensions group, one of the largest practices of its kind globally. As a Senior Associate in the Immigration team, you will:

• Advise major corporate clients on all aspects of business immigration, including sponsor licence applications, Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility routes, and associated compliance.
• Deliver strategic advice and training to employers on right-to-work requirements, compliance audits, and Home Office engagement.
• Work across a diverse client base spanning education, technology, retail, industrials, financial services and utilities, providing both technical expertise and commercial solutions.
• Have the opportunity to get involved in contentious matters (e.g. Home Office audits, civil penalty challenges) and personal immigration cases (ILR, naturalisation, family routes) if desired.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and internationally, benefiting from the firm's global platform and strong client relationships.

About You
We are seeking an ambitious Immigration lawyer with around 4-8 years' PQE. You will have strong experience advising employers on UK business immigration matters, particularly sponsor licence management and Skilled Worker applications. Any experience with personal or contentious immigration work would be advantageous but is not essential.
