The Role: ICT Cloud Engineer

This is a key technical position within the internal IT team. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving a hybrid infrastructure that spans cloud services and on-premise systems. The role covers user support, device rollout, security configuration, and critical system uptime for both production and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Windows-based servers, storage, and cloud integrations
• Administer Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Intune, and Defender
• Oversee device lifecycle: laptops, mobile phones, printers, industrial PCs
• Act as first- and second-line support via a ticketing system
• Monitor system health, review logs, manage alerts, and perform backup checks
• Support continuous improvement projects and implement new tools and services
• Collaborate closely with cloud, app, and data specialists

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (or 5+ with MBO-level background)
• HBO-level thinking and working ability
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD/Entra, Intune, Defender, Windows Server
• Familiarity with classic Active Directory, group policies, and Office 365
• Comfortable with basic networking and WiFi configuration
• Structured, service-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
• Fluent in Dutch with a good command of English
• Certifications like AZ-104 and MS-900 are a plus or must be obtained
