I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative with experience within ice cream/gelato or frozen food production to join a well-established, family-run business in Newcastle.

As an Ice Cream Production Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day production process, helping to ensure all products are made to the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a business that truly values craftsmanship and care in everything they do.

• Support the day-to-day production of a range of ice cream products
• Prepare ingredients and assist with mixing, batching, and processing
• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently (training provided where required)
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
• Assist with packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch
• Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
• Support general production and warehouse duties as needed

• Previous experience in ice cream/gelato production or a frozen food manufacturing environment
• A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety practicesAbility to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
