As an IBA Assistant, you will support the IBA Manager and Finance Team by managing the administration of client trust accounts across multiple currencies. Your work will ensure that all processes run efficiently, records are meticulously maintained, and regulatory standards are consistently met. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop in an IBA accounting environment and sharpen their financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily administration of client trust accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping across multiple currencies.
• Post receipts and payments into the broking system, allocating funds correctly to maintain precise ledgers.
• Investigate and elevate any cash discrepancies to keep unallocated cash under control.
• Process daily payment runs by collating necessary documentation and coordinating approval within deadlines.
• Support credit control processes by sending account statements and resolving client account queries.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly IBA reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties regarding client account issues and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Adhere to company policies and complete all regulatory training within the stipulated timeframes.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or IBA role.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
