Job Title: Hygiene Technician

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £30,814

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

Overview

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Hygiene Technician to join a stable and well established food manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygiene professional looking to develop their career within a fast paced production environment, playing a key role in maintaining exceptional hygiene standards across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hygiene activities across operational and non operational areas.
• Support deep cleaning programmes and machinery deep cleans during production shutdowns.
• Maintain staff facilities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Non negotiable: Previous hygiene experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Desirable: Experience within the UK food manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling procedures.
• Experience supporting machinery deep cleans and production shutdown cleaning activities.
