Hygiene Operative

• - Hours: 37.5hours across 5 days per week.


• -Pay: £14.85per hour.

We are looking to recruit hygiene operatives who will be responsible for enhancing the hygiene programmeat our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

• Address: Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.


• Induction starts onMonday 24thAugust.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns include:

• - Late shift - From 14:00 to 22:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £14.85per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35if you are under 21).

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you're looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

The core duties will involve but are not limited to:

• Day to day cleaning of the warehouse including emptying bins and operating the waste compactor.


• Collecting recyclable materials.


• Operating the bailer.


• Quickly dealing with issues such as spill and trip hazards.


• Collecting and recording of damages to assist in the reduction of waste.


• Yard maintenance.


• A Counterbalance licence would be desirable but isnot essential.

You will need:

• - To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).


• - To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.


• - A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.


• - Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
