Hydrant & Dry-Riser Technician: Field Maintenance & Testing

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service is recruiting a Fire Hydrant and Dry-Riser Technician, based at Billericay Fire Station. You will inspect and maintain statutory and private hydrants across the county, often working alone in roadside and rural locations, testing and refurbishing equipment from a workshop van.

The role requires manual handling, dexterity, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
