Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions, making timely and effective repairs
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and safety
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and recommendations
• Handle refrigerants safely in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation after each job
• Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technologies, codes, and industry best practices

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Refrigeration Gas Installer (RGI) certification
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician with strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to customer service and effective communication abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to travel to various job sites and work flexible hours as needed
