HVAC Technician

Job Overview

Dublin / Leinster - HVAC Technician servicing YORK chiller equipment.

What you will do

• Carry out commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps.
• Provide up-to-date site surveys, records, and reports to aid quotation of new or replacement equipment.
• Act as the primary contact for all technical service issues, resolving complex systems within agreed timeframes.
• Work mainly with pharmaceutical, life science, and high tech clients across Leinster.

What we look for

• Refrigeration F GAS 2079 Certificate (mandatory).
• Experience with ammonia refrigerants a distinct advantage.
• Relevant trade qualification in refrigeration or industrial electrical (A level) with willingness to cross train on YORK chillers.
• Safe Pass Card, Manual Handling Certificate, and Clean Irish driving licence.
• Minimum NFQ 5 qualification.
• Proven service/maintenance and repair of water cooled and air cooled chillers.
• Commissioning experience on large ton centrifugal or screw chillers and heat pumps preferred; factory training provided.
• Familiarity with major chiller brands (YORK, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, etc.).
