Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance (QDSM), part of the Quinn Downes Group, is a leading Irish-owned provider of Hard Services Maintenance and Facilities Support.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced HVAC Engineers to join our maintenance team.

The Role As a HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, heating, and boiler systems.
• Diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions across commercial and industrial sites.
• Carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Servicing and maintaining gas-fired and oil-fired heating systems.
• Completing service reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Working safely and professionally across client sites.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service and workmanship.

What We're Looking For:

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognized apprenticeship qualification in one of the following:
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
• RGI qualification (Registered Gas Installer) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working on boilers, heating systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Commercial and/or industrial HVAC maintenance experience.
• A valid full Irish driver's license.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with BMS controls and building services systems.
• Experience in emergency call-out and reactive maintenance environments.
