Job Title: HVAC Commissioning Engineer/ Validation Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a Critical Air / Clean Air specialist who have a strong presence in the North West of England. They are seeking a HVAC Commissioning Engineer to cover a busy portfolio of client contracts, carrying out balancing of air systems and validating critical ventilation systems. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills as well as robust industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a hardworking attitude as well as a methodical approach to projects. You will be covering sites across: Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Bury, Bolton, Burnley, Blackburn, Preston, Leigh, Wigan, Chorley, Manchester, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Prescot, St Helens, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Southport, Formby, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Clitheroe, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds.

• Experience working as a HVAC Commissioning Engineer / Validation Engineer
• Ideally will hold CSA Grades / Eastwood Park training
• Robust CIBSE/HTM0301 knowledge
• Must have worked on Critical Air / Clean Air contracts
• Flexible to travel as required
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills

• Working across a mix of client sites to carry out commissioning and validations on HVAC systems
• Producing validation reports
• Particle counting
• HEPA filter testing
• Taking pressure and air rate measurements
• AHU auditing and verifications
• Evaluating system performance to identify areas of improvement
• Meeting with clients to make technical recommendations
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
• Producing detailed works reports
• Ensuring to meet / exceed targets
