Based in the stunning setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine's Abbey, a World Heritage Site, The King's School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Recruitment Assistant to join our friendly HR team.
In this varied role, you will support the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising vacancies and coordinating interviews to onboarding successful candidates. You will build strong relationships with recruiting managers, provide guidance on our recruitment systems, maintain accurate recruitment records, and ensure a smooth and professional candidate journey.
You will also play a key role in pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, DBS, references and other compliance requirements, while supporting UKVI sponsorship administration and maintaining accurate HR data. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our recruitment processes and systems, helping us attract and retain exceptional staff.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in HR or recruitment administration is desirable, along with confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
