TXM Recruit are working with an established and growing multi-site organisation to help onboard a new HR Officer / HR Partner. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to provide hands-on HR support across the business, working closely with managers and employees to provide practical advice, manage employee relations and support the wider people strategy.
- Salary - Up to £50,000 depending on experience
- Location - West Midlands, multi-site
- Permanent, full-time position
- 9am to 5.30pm with a flexible approach to working hours
- Company car and fuel card / car allowance
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees.
- Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance and flexible working.
- Support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding.
- Coach managers on HR policies, employment legislation and best practice.
- Work closely with the internal recruitment team to support recruitment and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
- Produce HR reports and people metrics to support business decisions.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, reward and recognition initiatives.
- Build relationships with recruitment partners, training providers and other external stakeholders.
- Support and develop members of the wider HR team.
- Contribute to HR projects and the wider people strategy.
- Provide HR support across multiple operational sites throughout the West Midlands.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR Officer or HR generalist position.
- Previous experience within an industrial or commercial environment.
- Strong employee relations experience and knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Confident communicating with employees and managers at all levels.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Practical and commercially focused approach to HR.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
