The Dunbia Group, Dungannon are looking for a HR Officer to join us and be an integral part of the part of the HR Team. Your remit will be to provide HR generalist support to the business across 3 sites. Your key focus will be to provide support and guidance on a wide range of HR areas including employee welfare, attendance management, performance management employee relations and engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely advice, guidance, support and training on policies, procedures, processes and complex Employee Relations cases
  • Support change management through sound industrial relations practice
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that meet the needs of the business and reflect best practice
  • Support Managers in the areas of performance management, absence management, welfare, investigation, discipline, grievance, etc
  • Promote good employee relations and communication through involvement with employee forums/employee engagement activities eg Health & Wellbeing, Cultural Diversity
  • Involvement in/implementation of HR projects and initiatives to all levels of the business
  • Promote and support the business with compliance against relevant ethical and socially responsible trading requirements
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years, recent, HR Generalist experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment with a focus on ER, absence and performance management, employee welfare
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines;
  • Sound knowledge of current employment legislation;
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office & HR Systems

This role operates on a Monday to Friday basis from 8.30am to 5.15pm, however all candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.

Due to business requirements, this role will be office based.
