Job Description

HR Officer

Due to continued success, our Belfast city centre Client, an award-winning, prestigious professional services organisation, wishes to recruit an experienced HR Officer.

The successful HR Officer will report to the HR Manager and help support a very busy department with daily HR responsibilities.

This is a really generalist, permanent HR opportunity supporting everything from recruitment, onboarding and payroll, through to wellbeing, benefits and training excellent exposure to the full employee lifecycle.

The Role:

  • Support the recruitment process - liaising with agencies, scheduling and conducting interviews
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new joiners including induction and referencing process
  • Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status change data on the HR database
  • Update and maintain information relating to CPD (continued professional development)
  • Assist with placement schemes and trainee recruitment and administration
  • Assist with leavers administration, exit interviews etc
  • Organising staff events and wellbeing mornings throughout the year
  • Assisting with queries regarding annual leave and daily tasks, resolving any issues

The Person:

  • 2 years' minimum experience in a Human Resources role (essential)
  • CIPD qualified or HR related degree (essential)
  • Must be currently working in a busy role
  • Desirable: experience and background within a professional services environment
