Do you have at least 18 months' experience within an HR or People role, and are you confident supporting the full employee lifecycle? And are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment where priorities can shift? If so, this could be a strong next step in your HR career.

This is a broad and hands on People Officer role within a well-established, multi site organisation. Working closely with the Group Head of People, you'll play a key role in supporting the day to day delivery of the people agenda.

This role offers real variety, exposure across the full HR lifecycle, and the chance to build solid foundations for a long term career in HR.

What you'll be doing
  • Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
  • Providing guidance on policies, procedures, contracts and general HR matters
  • Supporting onboarding and off boarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
  • Managing and maintaining HR systems, including acting as administrator for the ATS (Eploy)
  • Supporting recruitment activity and coordinating with hiring managers and agencies
  • Producing and analysing people data and monthly reports
  • Assisting with employee relations casework alongside senior HR colleagues
  • Coordinating learning and development activity, including apprenticeships
  • Supporting HR projects and group wide initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, systems and records
What we're looking for
  • Experience in a HR or People role (minimum 18 months or relevant placement)
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Confidence working with HR systems and data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Why consider this role?
  • Broad exposure across the full HR lifecycle
  • A genuinely varied, operational role with real responsibility
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior HR leadership
  • A stable and established organisation with a strong people focus

If you're looking for a role where you can build solid HR foundations, develop your experience, and be part of a busy and supportive team, this could be a great fit.
