HR Manager: Lead Training & Compliance (Part-Time Mayo)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Co. Mayo. This role will suit a suitably experienced HR professional who can manage the full HR function while supporting the organisation's training and development needs.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management and employees across a range of HR activities including employee relations, compliance, and staff development.
The role is based in Mayo and is commutable from the major towns across the county including Castlebar , Ballina , Westport , Claremorris and Swinford .
A part-time option (3 days per week) may also be considered if the role requirements can be effectively carried out within these hours.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the full Human Resources function within the organisation
Provide support and guidance to management on employee relations and HR best practices
Lead and coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Irish employment legislation
Manage disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes
Work with employee representatives within a unionised environment
Assist with and represent the organisation where required in Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) proceedings
Support compliance initiatives including Health & Safety policies and procedures
Maintain HR documentation and support organisational HR reporting
Proven experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR role
Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practices
Experience working in a unionised environment is highly desirable
Experience dealing with WRC proceedings would be an advantage
Experience supporting training and development programmes
Knowledge or experience relating to Health & Safety compliance would be beneficial
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage a broad HR remit and work independently
