HR Manager / Senior HR Business Partner
Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer with a growing presence in Galway, is looking for an experienced HR Manager / Senior HR Business Partner to lead the HR function on-site. This is a hands-on leadership role, reporting into global HR, with genuine influence over people strategy, culture and organisational effectiveness at a critical time for the business.
The Role- Act as the lead HR partner to the Site Leadership Team, driving people strategy, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.
- Own talent management, succession planning and the annual performance cycle.
- Lead compensation and rewards activity, including benchmarking, job evaluations and merit reviews.
- Provide hands-on employee relations support and guidance across the site.
- Champion culture, engagement and capability-building as the site continues to grow.
- 2 direct reports.
- 8-10 years' progressive HR experience, including significant HRBP or HR leadership experience.
- A background in manufacturing, medical device or engineering environments is a strong advantage.
- Broad, hands-on HR generalist skillset with the ability to operate strategically as well as get into the detail.
- Global or cross-cultural HR experience is a plus, particularly exposure to Asia or the US.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR compliance.
- Level 8 degree minimum; CIPD and/or Master's preferred.
