Job Description

Job Title: HR Lead (Exclusive) Location: Derry/Londonderry

Introduction / Overview

VANRATH have partnered with an established organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to support the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on recruitment, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, onboarding, and supporting managers with day-to-day HR matters while driving employee engagement and people initiatives across the business.

Salary
  • Competitive salary package - Up to £45,000
About You / Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in an HR management role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of NI and UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident problem-solver with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and solutions-focused approach
  • Approachable, collaborative, and able to work well as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
  • Committed to continuous improvement and delivering a positive employee experience
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, Right to Work compliance, probation reviews, training plans, and employee record management
  • Support managers and employees with HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters including absence management, performance, disciplinary, and grievance processes
  • Maintain and develop HR systems and reporting, provide HR metrics and insights, and liaise with payroll to ensure employee changes are processed accurately and in line with legislation
  • Support talent development initiatives including training, succession planning, and employee engagement, while promoting positive employee relations and a collaborative workplace culture
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and provide general day-to-day HR administrative support
