HR Lead

About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR - Lead to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the HR team with day to day HR activities
• Manage Long Term Sickness from welfare meetings through to returning to work/medical termination
• Deal with HR queries
• Process weekly payroll hours for a selection of the workforce
• Schedule, support and offer guidance in absence reviews and write outcome letters
• Schedule, support and offer guidance in grievance reviews and write outcome letters
• Schedule, support and offer guidance in disciplinary meetings and write outcome letters
• Run various reports using the Time & Attendance System to produce information for the team and management
• Refer colleagues to Occupational Health and deal with follow up meetings
• Produce KPI reports on a weekly basis
• Assist the HR Manager with projects
• Coach and develop Leaders that will improve performance and create a more engaged team and allow leaders to manage their own teams
• Act as a champion to promote a culture that inspires colleagues to perform their highest potential, whilst ensuring the people plans are in place for future business opportunities enhancing career development and colleague engagement
• Maintain excellent communication within the team
• Ensure a safe working environment is kept for all colleagues
• Report any Health & Safety issues to the Management

What Are We Looking For?

• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Proven track record of Senior HR Advisor experience
• IT literacy
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent customer service
• Team player
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Attention to detail
• Up to CIPD level 5 and/or relevant experience
