HR Generalist (Talent & Capability)

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Talent & Capability Generalist to support the delivery and coordination of talent and development initiatives across a large manufacturing facility. This role will play a key part in enabling a culture of continuous learning by supporting programmes such as Course Funding, Lifelong Learning, Succession Planning, Talent Management, and Development Programmes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently. A key requirement for this role is advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate, cleanse, and analyse significant datasets using pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and data visualisation techniques.

Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for Talent & Capability activities, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting on training programmes.
- Responsible for managing, analysing, and translating large volumes of data into accurate, meaningful insights and stakeholder ready presentations.
- Coordinate logistics for internal and external training sessions (venues, materials, bookings, attendance tracking).
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Level 7 qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or equivalent.
- Experience in an administrative or L&D support role, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work with data, analyse trends, and produce reports.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with strong data handling capability.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Proactive and solution oriented approach.
