The RoleWe're looking for a HR Director to lead our HR strategy and drive initiatives that support our ambitious growth plans. This is a senior leadership role where you'll work closely with the Managing Director, Group Chairman, and divisional leaders to deliver a comprehensive HR strategy that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
What You'll Be Doing- Develop and deliver a group-wide HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Position Tangerine as an Employer Brand of Choice through engagement programmes.
- Oversee the full recruitment process and coach managers on best practices.
- Lead learning and development initiatives, including establishing an internal 'Academy'.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and maintain updated policies.
- Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback and performance management systems.
- Benchmark compensation and benefits annually and make recommendations.
- Support leadership development and training programmes.
- Collaborate on health and safety compliance and training.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in senior HR leadership (Director, Head of HR, or HRBP level).
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 7 preferred).
- Strong track record in change management and strategic delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
