Job Description

I am delighted to support a business located in the heart of London to recruit a HR Data Lead on 12 months fixed term contract. As part of a major HR technology transformation, this role leads the HR data workstream for the implementation of a new HR analytics landscape within SuccessFactors. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing the data strategy, managing migration from legacy systems, embedding governance frameworks, and enabling analytics capabilities that support strategic workforce planning and operational excellence.

You'll define and deliver a comprehensive HR data strategy aligned with business needs and system capabilities, collaborating across HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and data readiness. This includes designing data models, mapping logic, and overseeing the full migration lifecycle, extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and deployment, while maintaining data integrity across modules such as core HR, payroll, and talent.

  • Experienced with SuccessFactors reporting and analytics.
  • Establishing robust data governance is central to the role. You'll implement ownership and stewardship protocols, monitor quality KPIs, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR.
  • You'll also act as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into accessible language and delivering training to HR teams on data standards and reporting.
  • In addition, you'll support the development of reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring data structures enable meaningful insights across diversity metrics, workforce planning, and operational dashboards.
  • Working closely with BI teams, you'll help unlock the full potential of the new HR system through actionable intelligence.
  • This role demands a strong foundation in HR data architecture, relational databases, and transformation techniques (e.g., ETL), along with hands-on experience in platforms like Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI is essential, as is a deep understanding of data privacy and governance frameworks.
  • You'll bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to navigate large-scale transformation projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement-especially through techniques like Lean or Six Sigma-will be key to success.

The role offers a competitive package of up to £90,000 p.a. on a 12 months fixed term duration. You will benefit from an agile and hybrid working model and be given autonomy. If you're interested in this role and would like more information, please apply, and contact Anton Blades at Frazer Jones via email with any questions or to have a confidential discussion about your job search.
