Job Description

Our Client


We are delighted to be working with this Edinburgh based business to support with their requirement for a HR Business Partner on a contract basis.

Your new role:


Based in Edinburgh, and working on site 5 days per week, this role will manage and administer all HR activity across the company to ensure a robust and supportive HR function which enhances the employee experience and complies with relevant laws and regulations.


You will be specialising in employee relations and will support managers to manage grievance and disciplinary matters for over 2,000 staff.

Duties will include:



  • Providing guidance to managers on employee relations issues and queries, including performance management, disputes, and grievances.

  • Reviewing and maintaining employee policies and company documents, including contracts, handbooks, and other supporting paperwork.

  • Coordinating administration of staff benefits.

  • Supporting with the implementation of other ad hoc People projects and all other ongoing HR matters and projects, as required


Experience and Skills Required:


You will be an experienced and highly organised HR professional with solid generalist experience and a passion for creating a strong work culture. You will also be fully up to date with HR legislation with a special knowledge in employee relations.
