How You'll Make an Impact

As a HR Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and driving key people initiatives within a dynamic site environment. You will serve as the trusted advisor to site leadership, strengthening engagement, supporting organisational change, and advancing our people strategy. In this capacity, you will support our sites in Blackley, Huddersfield, Barnsley and Daresbury in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with site leaders to understand business priorities, competitive landscape, and organisational needs.
  • Act as the main HR contact for managers, providing coaching, performance guidance, and support on all people related topics.
  • Lead employee and union engagement approaches, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Drive HR priorities at the site level, ensuring policies, programs, and change initiatives are successfully delivered.
  • Support organisational change through planning, communication, and effective change management strategies.
  • Build engagement and improve workforce productivity by strengthening local relationships and partnering closely with employees and leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes, policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support talent attraction and talent development initiatives at local and enterprise level.
  • Manage the UK HR policy and procedure inventory, reviewing and updating as required.
  • Lead or contribute to HR transformation projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work in collaboration with the wider UK HR team, global Centres of Excellence (COEs) and regional/global HR colleagues to deliver best in class HR services.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, ideally within manufacturing, operations, or site based environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR policies, processes, and workforce management.
  • Proven ability to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships with leaders.
  • Experience managing employee relations and supporting disciplinary processes.
  • Experience working with unions and supporting union engagement strategies.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for HR process improvement.
  • Confident in using HR technologies and digital tools, including incorporating AI into working practices where appropriate.
  • Full driving licence required due to regular travel.
