RoleAs an HR Assistant you will provide operational and administrative support for the HR function of Seaeye. The role requires high levels of discretion, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Recruitment and Onboarding- Support the recruitment team with offers of employment, contracts, onboarding, and induction programmes.
- Assist managers through the process and provide feedback to the recruitment team.
- Prepare contracts of employment for all new starters and internal transfers.
- Drive the new starter process and inductions, ensuring all necessary paperwork is returned and accurately completed.
- Support pre employment checks, right to work, including BPSS and higher level security clearances where applicable.
- Liaise with hiring managers and security teams to ensure timely and compliant onboarding.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll data each month, managing overtime and personal detail changes.
- Handle all benefits administration for starters and leavers, including private medical cover, dental and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Champion wellbeing and engagement initiatives across the business and participate in campus initiatives led by HR.
- Support the Senior HRBP in reviewing staff survey feedback and suggest actions to improve engagement.
- Deliver day to day HR administration across the employee life cycle.
- Maintain accurate employee data, including new starters, changes, leavers, inductees, probation and annual leave.
- Keep personnel files well organised and up to date.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of data in HR systems and maintain confidentiality.
- Book and record internal and external training courses, ensuring all mandatory training is completed in Workday.
- Undertake other tasks as required.
- Experience in a fast paced HR environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve potential problems or issues, escalating where appropriate.
- Confident and pragmatic support for managers.
- Empathy and sound judgement when handling sensitive or complex people matters.
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload and meet agreed targets.
- Excellent attention to detail, professional, reliable and self sufficient.
- Friendly, approachable with a can do attitude.
- Desirable: CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent, Workday or other HR system experience, HR regulation awareness, experience with sensitive employee relations matters.
