Role: HR Advisor 12 month FTC

Location: Edinburgh

Hours: Full time or part time considered.

What you'll do
  • Deliver an effective HR service to assigned business areas, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures in line with best practice.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices, ensure compliance, and provide professional advice.
  • Lead case management across your business areas, including complex attendance issues, performance management, grievance, restructures, redundancies, and post evaluations.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance in case management, highlight trends for the wider HR team.
  • Support development and implementation of HR policies and update Employee Handbooks.
  • Lead the production of HR reports on employee engagement, sickness absence, turnover, analysing trends and highlighting improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor trends in employment practice and law to advise on proactive action.
What you'll need
  • HR Degree or equivalent
  • Experience with HR systems
  • Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification
  • Commercially aware
  • Committed to CPD
  • Focused and highly motivated
  • Planning, prioritising and time management skills
