Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit aHR Advisor to join ourteam based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis andin return, you will receive a competitive salaryplus benefits.

Responsibilities as our HR Advisor will include:- Working closely with department managers/supervisors, providing accurate and timely advice on all areas of employment law and Company policies and procedures.
- Providing support and guidance on discipline, grievance and absence management matters, ensuring these are dealt with consistently, adhering to legislation and Company policies and procedures.
- Preparing training material on a wide range of generalist HR topics and deliver training as required.
- Support in developing and implementing Company employee engagement initiatives.
- Supporting the HR Assistant with all aspects of recruitment, from drafting adverts to writing contracts and conducting new starter inductions.
- Management of HR systems.
- Previous experience in a similar, generalist HR role.
- Already holds or is working towards CIPD level 5 qualification.
- The ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- To be meticulous with detail and have a proven ability to operate to deadlines and deal with conflicting priorities in an effective manner.
- To be organised, with the ability to multi-task and reprioritise throughout the day.
- The ability to act on their own initiative and make decisions when required.To be resilient and empathetic.
- To be approachable with the ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels.
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience of working with HR systems.
- Comprehensive training on our telephone and computer systems and business processes
