Overview

1to1 Group are working with one of our clients based on the outskirts of Southampton who are seeking to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Generalist/HR Advisor to support the delivery of effective people practices across their business. This is a new role and an opportunity to grow with the company. The company are proud of their background and are well established.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with operational leaders, you will provide hands-on, day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This role is well suited to an HR professional who enjoys a broad, operational remit and is confident managing a varied workload. You will support colleagues across a few sites, helping to embed consistent, values-led HR processes while contributing to ongoing business change and growth.

  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Support colleagues across multiple sites to embed consistent, values-led HR processes.
  • Work closely with operational leaders and report to the HR Manager.
  • Contribute to ongoing business change and growth with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Be involved in both advisory and administrative HR tasks as required.
  • Willingness to travel between sites if required, though minimal.
Key Skills
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, supporting managers and employees across a range of HR activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills across all levels.
  • Sound working knowledge of UK employment law and practical experience supporting employee relations matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently when required.
  • Experience supporting HR activity in a multi-site or operational environment is desirable.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach, with a willingness to get involved in both advisory and administrative HR tasks.
Qualifications / Preferred Skills
  • CIPD qualified (Level 3 or Level 5) or working towards a recognised HR qualification.
  • Experience within the FMCG sector is advantageous but not essential.
Salary

£32,000-£36,000 salary per year depending on experience
