We are excited to welcome a friendly and proactive HR Advisor to our close-knit HR team! This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping employees thrive and is eager to make a positive impact in our organization.

As our HR Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for providing guidance on HR policies and practices, supporting our incredible team members, and ensuring we maintain a fantastic work environment. You'll get to collaborate with various departments, offer solutions to employee relations situations, and contribute to a range of HR projects that enhance engagement and growth.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Employee Support: Be available to answer any HR related questions and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment: Assist in the hiring process, from job postings to interviews, helping us find the perfect new team members.
  • Training and Development: Help coordinate training sessions and growth opportunities to empower our staff.
  • Employee Relations: Offer support in managing employee relations matters with a friendly touch.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring confidentiality is kept at the utmost priority.
  • Continuous Improvement: Get involved in making our HR processes even better and more efficient!
  • A background in human resources, ideally as an HR Advisor or similar role.
  • Good understanding of HR practices, employment law, and policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to help build rapport with employees.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using HR information systems.
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude, ready to nurture a supportive workplace.
  • A team player who also enjoys working independently.
Development Opportunities & Role Exposure
  • Direct exposure to key employee relations processes, including disciplinaries, investigations, and grievances
  • Gradual progression into HR case management, allowing hands on experience with a variety of people related matters
  • Providing interim support to the HR Manager on occasion, developing leadership capability and broader HR insight
  • Involvement in reviewing, updating, and shaping HR policies and procedures
  • Ongoing CIPD study supported by continued professional development and practical application of learning
  • Meaningful involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of HR and site processes
