Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to join our HR Service Delivery team at Shawbrook. This is a vital role responsible for managing all HR administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the HR team in delivering high-quality service. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, customer-focused Administrator looking for 1st line exposure to the business within a professional organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across multiple HR systems.
  • Create and update employee files while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
  • Manage invoices and liaise with finance teams to ensure accurate coding and processing.
  • Process payroll reports and resolve payroll queries efficiently.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all employee queries regarding policies, processes, and general HR matters.
  • Support the wider HR team with BAU and cyclical benefit administration.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insights on employee experience and share findings with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for cyclical processes such as employee screening and holiday buy/sell programs.
  • Support key projects within the HR function.
  • Offer advice and guidance to managers on first-stage employment matters including short-term absence and family leave.

The Person

  • Previous administrative experience gained within the financial services or professional services industry.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills and comfortable liaising with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate a keen interest in improving processes to enhance the employee experience.
