About The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive maternity cover HR Administrator to provide vital support to the HR Director and help deliver an efficient, professional HR service across our school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in HR to play a key role in supporting our staff and maintaining smooth HR operations.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support for a range of HR activities, including preparing contracts, maintaining accurate personnel records, and assisting throughout the recruitment process. This will involve advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, carrying out pre-employment checks, and coordinating induction for new staff. You will also ensure HR databases and personnel files are kept up to date in line with legislation and school policies, record staff absences, and support the management of annual and sickness leave. In addition, you will maintain the school's HR policy schedule and act as the first point of contact for general HR queries, offering friendly and professional assistance to staff.

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
