We're recruiting on behalf of a global construction company, for an HR Administrator (full time or part time) to join their collaborative HR team in Buntingford. Working within lovely offices, this is a varied role sitting at the heart of the HR function. You'll take ownership of collating information for the payroll processing, keep employee records watertight, and support the business through the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

What you'll be doing:

• Processing and administering payroll for all employees, making sure everything's accurate and compliant
• Maintaining employee records including contracts, personal details and attendance
• Supporting onboarding and offboarding, from paperwork to system updates
• Handling benefits admin and answering employee queries on payroll and HR policy
• Keeping on top of compliance with employment law and internal policy
• Pulling together HR reports and helping with audits
• Liaising with finance and external payroll providers
• Getting stuck into wider HR projects as needed

Requirements What you'll bring:

• UK Experience in HR and payroll administration or hands on administration experience.
• Good working knowledge of payroll systems and employment legislation is preferred but not essential
• Sharp attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident with Microsoft Office and any HRIS systems
• Great communication skills and the discretion to handle confidential information properly
• Client is happy with full time or part time hours Monday to Friday.
