Support Worker with Housing experience?
We may have just the role for you
Come and join a Charity focused on people rather than profit.
As a Housing Worker at CCP, you will play a vital role within our Hereford Accommodation Based Service Team which provides supported accommodation to vulnerable adults over the age of 18 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You'll be joining a fun, tight-knit team that work well to achieve great outcomes for residents. Due to the nature of the role, and locations of our properties, a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle is essential.
We are looking for someone to work part-time working 22.5 hours Monday-Friday.
What You'll Do
- Provide tailored housing-related support to people to maintain or secure suitable accommodation.
- Responsible for collecting rent, ensuring Health and Safety is maintained, inspecting accommodation and issuing letters to residents when breaches of Tenancy have occurred.
- Join a great team in Hereford that makes a significant impact on the lives of the people they support.
It would be great if you had some experience in the housing sector, however, it is not essential as full training is provided.
If you have a positive attitude to learn and want to develop, we will fully support your career with us.
While the role may present challenges, the rewards of witnessing the positive impact of your guidance and support in peoples lives are truly extraordinary.
To excel in this position, you'll need to be flexible, patient, resilient, and professional, approaching your duties with a calm and caring demeanour.
