Around a dozen luxury properties in Switzerland and France are part of Michel Reybier Hospitality. In the world-renowned Zermatt, the hotel portfolio includes the traditional Mont Cervin Palace 5 S, the trendy new Schweizerhof 4 S, and the historic Monte Rosa 4 .
We are looking for a Housing Supervisor to join our HR team at MRH-Zermatt. In this key role, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and ensure the well-being of our employees throughout their time with us.

IntroductionSupport the HR Team to implement housing strategies that align with the MRH-Z housing needs and growth objectives.
Housing Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of staff housing facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Allocate housing units to staff based on availability and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate records of housing assignments and occupancy statuses.
Maintenance and Upkeep:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely repairs.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address issues promptly, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to uphold the quality of housing facilities.
- Perform cleaning of units when required to maintain occupancy standards.
Policy Development and Enforcement:
- Develop, update, and enforce housing rules and regulations to promote a harmonious living environment.
- Communicate policies effectively to all residents and address any violations in a timely manner.
Staff Communication and Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff regarding housing-related inquiries and concerns.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes related to housing.
- Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new residents to familiarize them with housing policies and facilities.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance requests, housing assignments, and related expenses.
- Prepare regular reports on housing operations for management review.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for housing-related expenditures.
Relationships / Communication:
- Develop and maintain relationships of trust and respect with colleagues, residents, candidates, peers, vendors, etc.
- Be proactive and communicate effectively with all, be professional, empathetic and friendly always.
- Assist in maintaining effective communication channels within the company and at all levels.
- Support in the preparation and communication of Employee Surveys, Training Sessions, Employee Events, etc
Team Management:
- Ensure team members understand how their roles contribute to the success of the team, department, property, and company, as well as the impact on guests.
- Lead by example, model desired behaviors and foster a supportive, open environment where team members feel comfortable asking questions, providing feedback, and discussing challenges.
- Lead with empathy, understand team members' emotions and perspectives to build strong connections and improve communication.
- Assign clear responsibilities, provide necessary support, and encourage ownership and accountability in delivering tasks, projects, and objectives.
- Promote continuous learning, celebrate successes, provide regular feedback, and nurture teamwork to ensure high levels of collaboration and guest service excellence.
General:

- Attend and participate in departmental and hotel meetings, committees, seminars.

- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Support the HR Team when required and carry out their duties in their absence.
- Support the HR Team to implement housing strategies that align with the MRH-Z housing needs and growth objectives.
- Ambassador of MRH values and culture, promote its awareness amongst team members by leading by example and develop activities and programs that consistently embrace and reflect the company's culture.

- Apprenticeship in Housekeeping, or Hospitality education
- Fluent in English
- Good level of German is an advantage
- Other European languages are a plus
