Job Description

• Lead and manage housing operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Oversee property management, including maintenance, tenancy agreements, and resident satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategic housing initiatives.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance related to housing services.
• Resolve escalated issues or complaints from residents effectively and professionally.
• Ensure the organisation remains compliant with health and safety standards across all properties.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors and local authorities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Housing Services Manager should have:

• Proven experience in property or housing management within the not-for-profit sector.
• Experienced in resident engagement (essential)
• Experience in income management would be a strong plus but not essential
• Strong knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Competence in budget management and financial planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality services to residents.
• A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in housing or property management.
