Langley is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Housing Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team in Eliora (Bedfordhire & Northamptonshire). This is a permanent, full time position working 40 hours per week, where you'll play a meaningful role in supporting our clients and contributing to our mission. This role may include some travel and overnight stops.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £27,299per annum, recognising the value and impact of your work.

About the Role
  • Lead in the assessment and management of risk including the operation ofphysical and situational security measures to control the level of risk posed to thepublic, staff and others in relation to the referral and letting of properties.

  • Provideinformation and advice about WelfareBenefits especially that of Housing Benefit.

  • Provide information about tenants' rights andresponsibilities, address breaches of occupancy with tenants using the Trust'srelevant policies and procedures.

  • Developand maintainaccurate records including correspondence, housingmanagement plans and health and safety records on the tenants file and otherhousing management records using QLx.
