Job Description

The Merrion Hotel located in the heart of Georgian Dublin, opposite Government Buildings, is the capital's most luxurious five star hotel, and a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The Merrion Hotel has partnered with Flow Hospitality Training to provide a bespoke learning management system for all of our team members. The Merrion is the first hotel in Ireland to provide accredited and tailor made training via Flow Hospitality Training.

The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be offered plenty of training. This is a really rewarding role on a team where you can be assured of a warm welcome!

Responsibilities
  • Supervision of the servicing of guest bedrooms, public areas and turndown service.
  • Demonstrate five star hygiene standards and work in a professional manner while supervising the Housekeeping Team.
  • Ensure employees adhere to cleaning checklists, as per hotel standards.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the Management Team.
  • Regularly check public areas and toilets to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have strong guest focus, excellent communication skills, great spoken and written English, multi tasking ability and enjoy contributing in a positive way to The Merrion Culture. Flexibility in response to guest and business needs is required, no two days are the same!
