Job Description

Housekeeper Cook (Live-out, Full-time)

Location: Notting Hill, London

Days: Monday - Saturday

Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday-Friday: 8 hours per day, Saturday: 5 hours)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £20gph

A warm family of four is seeking an experienced, discreet and hardworking Housekeeper / Cook to join their household in Notting Hill.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a five-storey, five-bedroom family home to an exceptional standard whilst preparing healthy European-style meals for the family.

The family are informal in nature and are looking for a loyal, self-sufficient individual who takes genuine pride in their work and is seeking a long-term position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the property to an immaculate standard
  • Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping throughout the home
  • Caring for fine furnishings and household finishes
  • Keeping all rooms beautifully presented and organised
Laundry & Wardrobe Management
  • Managing all laundry and ironing
  • Wardrobe and closet organisation
Cooking
  • Preparing healthy European-style meals for the family
  • Planning and cooking nutritious dishes with an emphasis on fresh ingredients
  • Preparing meals that are low in carbohydrates, avoiding pasta and rice-based dishes
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Household Support
  • Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the household
  • Providing occasional pet care for the family's two cats whilst the family are travelling
  • Carrying out seasonal deep cleaning and household organisation projects during periods when the family are away
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience working within a HWN private household as a Housekeeper/Cook
  • Excellent housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management skills
  • Comfortable working across a five-storey property
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Discreet, trustworthy and hardworking
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible and willing to assist with pet sitting when required
  • A positive attitude and professional manner
