Part time, 22 hours per week, all year round

The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form in Keyworth is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper/Catering Assistant. This is a dual roll working with both the general housekeeping and catering teams.

Working Hours

Term time: Monday to Thursday 12.15pm to 4.45pm and Friday 12.15pm to 4.00pm. School holidays: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 12.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 12.00pm.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping duties within the school and catering areas.
• Assisting with the preparation and service of meals.
• Laying out and putting away furniture.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Being physically able to walk around and perform the required tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a school environment, catering, housekeeping or general cleaning is an advantage.
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Will ingness to learn and undertake an enhanced DBS check.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role.
