Job Description

We are looking for our client, a leading 4-star hotel, to appoint an experienced and motivated Hotel Sales Manager to support continued business growth. This role drives revenue through proactive sales efforts, builds strong client relationships, and identifies new opportunities in key market segments while working with senior leadership to position the hotel effectively and hit sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and secure new business in the local corporate and conference markets.
  • Achieve weekly appointment targets and manage an account list to grow revenue.
  • Conduct market research on competitors' transient and group strategies.
  • Perform competition shopping for rates, benefits, and key accounts at rival hotels.
  • Maintain existing relationships and network for new accounts in Ireland and overseas.
  • Track all lost or turned-down leads for future opportunities.
  • Handle sales activities including trips, telesales, site inspections, corporate hospitality, familiarisation trips, and trade shows.
Ideal Candidate
  • 2+ years in a similar hotel sales role.
  • Full clean driver's licence and own transport.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive outlook.
  • Standards-driven, customer-focused, self-motivated, and strong leadership abilities.
  • Experience setting annual sales budgets.
