A day in the life of

As a Reservations Coordinator, your role will be to manage the day to day reservations sales activities, converting enquiries and updating new and existing reservations, to create positive guest experiences and to drive revenue growth in line with the hotels commercial strategies.

Based in the Crowne Plaza Newcastle, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn't always mean working around the clock.

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Respond to all telephone and email enquiries.
  • Create new reservations and update billing information and special requests in OPERA PMS.
  • Manage billing and payments.
  • Build excellent relationships with regular bookers and agencies.
  • Coordinate final details and rooming lists for group reservations.
  • Take part in daily business reviews with the reservations and meeting & events sales teams to identify opportunities.
