Opening in late summer 2026, Parade Hotel will bring together 49 beautifully appointed rooms, a tranquil Courtyard Spa, and a vibrant new restaurant - each designed to offer a sense of calm, comfort, and quiet luxury.
Your Role: Reception ManagerWorking closely with the Front of House Manager, you will play a highly visible and influential role in shaping each guest's journey. You will lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver intuitive, personalised service that exceeds expectations at every touchpoint. Drawing on your leadership experience, you will drive the development, implementation, and consistency of front office standards, ensuring a seamless and bespoke guest experience.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the reception team to deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high standards across all guest interactions
- Support the management team completing duty management responsibilities
- Foster a culture of warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Take ownership of the guest journey, anticipating needs and resolving issues with care and efficiency
- Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of systems, including PMS (Mews)
- Help recruit, train and develop a team with strong capability, high motivation and clear opportunities for progression and succession
- Uphold immaculate personal and team presentation, reflecting the understated quality and aesthetic of Parade Hotel
- Support the team performance to deliver get financial return and provide a strong eye for detail and process.
- Support the wider hotel and hospitality operation as needed, with flexibility and a hands on approach
You will play a highly visible and influential role in shaping each guest's journey. You will lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver intuitive, personalised service that exceeds expectations at every touchpoint. As a new hotel opening you will help position Parade Hotel in the market by providing and training exceptional customer service.
Requirements- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional, bespoke customer service
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within a high-quality hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of front office operations and overall hotel departments
- Excellent knowledge of the local area, including history and attractions
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for team development
- Experience with reservations systems (advantageous)
- Confidence in supporting the implementation and training teams on a PMS (Mews preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and approachable manner
- A strong financial understanding of reception processes and night audit
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
